Questions to Ask An Agent
Are you ready to buy or sell a home? If you decide to use an agent your next step is to find the right agent. Here are a few resources to help your find that agent.
1. Are you full time? Part time?
It is critical that your agent is full time and is not just "doing this on the side." We are full time agents and are committed to helping you in this process.
2. How long have you been helping people buy and sell homes?
Together, we have over 24 years experience selling homes. Pam, the veteran, has all the experience and expert ability to handle any situation. Suzi is has the energy and creativity needed to get the job done.
3. How do we reach you?
We are available by phone, email, or text message. We always have our phone with us and personally answer all phone calls and emails promptly. It is the agents job to ensure that your needs are being met and if you can't reach your agent, then are your needs being met?
4. Are you fully automated with your own personal computer, FAX machine, copier, voice mail, etc.?
Yes, Yes, and Yes. It is of utmost importance to have all the necessary equipment so all transactions are completed ASAP.
5. Why are you personally motivated to sell my house?
Our goal is to treat you the best by making your goals our own. So, when we do our job and go beyond your expectations, we have a client for life, which in turn makes us VERY motivated to sell your home.
6. Is the Realtor telling you everything you want to hear
or everything you need to know?
There is a difference in being told what you want to hear versus what you need to hear. Communication is key. Our job is not easy all the time, in that we tell you what you need to hear so we can do our job most effectively. There are times when we will tell you things that will be hard to swallow.
7. How will you keep me informed of new listings?
By phone and by email. We have an automated email system so as soon as a new listing hits the market that meets your requirements, you are automatically emailed. In addition to emails, William E. Wood & Associates have a system in place where we know before anyone else about listings within our company. Let's say on the weekend a listing comes out that is not in the MLS and it is a William E. Wood listing, we will know and call you ASAP.
8. Will you be committed to us?
We have your best interest at heart. We listen to your needs and put those needs before anything else. We work hard straight through until the job is done.
9. How will our home be advertised?
Both on the internet and in print. We have an extensive personalized market plan for each of our clients.
